As a result of the audit process, Freight Payment Inc. is able to capture in excess of 120 standard data elements related to each processed shipment. In order to drive metrics, additional data elements can be captured predicated upon client needs. For example, if a client desires the Freight Cost as a Percentage of Sales metric, simply adding the clients' sales revenue to each downloaded Bill of Lading record provides Freight Payment Inc. with the ability to do so. Receipt of the carrier invoice, either hardcopy or EDI210, along with the clients' Bill of Lading record provides Freight Payment Inc. with the ability to create and maintain a powerful database for each of its clients. Data integrity and accuracy is ensured through the use of "Data-Scrubbers", exception reports, and consistent follow-up and research of all data exceptions by Freight Payment Inc.'s experienced and dedicated staff of professionals.
